Mohawk Popsicle Stick Bridge Competition
Each year, the Optimist Club of Hamilton participates in the Mohawk Popsicle
Stick Bridge Competition for high school students by providing the first and second prize winner with a tuition scholarship of $1,000 and $500 respectively.
This amazing competition encourages youth to build a bridge according to these guidelines:
- The building material shall only consist of the Popsicle sticks and Lepage's Multi-purpose glue supplied to you in the 2016 High School competition kit from Mohawk College
- The bridge weight must not exceed 250g
- All building kits are free of chargefor high school competitors
- Competitors must be carrying a full-time course load to be eligible for prizes
